Arnold McLeod

Arnold McLeod (*1959, Mobile Alabama, he/him) is a US-American artist based in Ulm, Germany. He collects impressions of his surroundings as a fisherman from an alpine lake, of portraits of friends and colleagues and of traditional bavarian carpentry in paintings, drawings and woodwork. He uses techniques of the old masters. 
Arnold McLeod studied at the Maryland Institute of Arts (Baltimore, MA) with a focus in painting, drawing and woodworking (BFA Fine Arts). He has worked as a carpenter and as stage technician.
He has exhibited in various places and has recently done curational work for the “Hinter den Kulissen” (“Behind the Stage”) exhibitions of the Theater Ulm, where he also showed his work.
